摘要
A numerical simulation of bird-impact on a blade is studied. A new smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) approach which is incorporated as a solver option into the explicit finite element program PAM-CRASH is used to model the bird. The comparison among the results from SPH method, Lagrange method and experiment indicates that the result from SPH method is better in agreement with the experimental results than that from Lagrange method. Further, the SPH method is applied to study the influence of the geometric configuration of the bird model including cylinder, cylinder with a hemisphere or an ellipsoid at both ends on the numerical results. Finally, the distribution curves at different instants of strain and stress in the root of the blade where damage is easy to occur under experimental conditions are calculated.
