Several automobile companies introduced their innovative products at the Autosport Engineering International show that was held at Birmingham's NEC on January 13-16, 2011. The show involved specialist engineering companies, with several exhibitors running live demonstrations and interactive exhibits such as Oldings MCR ran one of its bead blasters throughout the show and encouraged visitors to bring their own components so they could demonstrate the effect on the machines. Several engineering heavyweights companies such as Capricorn, DC Electronics, Zircotec and Xtrac displayed their leading products at the show. Surface finishing companies such as Anochrome Technologies REM Surface Engineering exhibited the range of its 'reduced friction, increased longevity' superfinished parts, along with 'before and after components'. Other companies such as Deutsch introduced its new super lightweight five-pin connector, Baty International, unveiled is entirely revamped range of gauges, and Seco launched its new composite machining tools.
