摘要
By using two pairs of NMOSs and the bulk-biased technology, an ultra-low voltage ultra-low power NMOS bulk-biased mixer (NBBM), applied to some satellite navigation dual-system compatible receiver, was implemented in SMIC 0.18m CMOS process. The GPS system was included: The frequency of the radio frequency (RF) signal, local oscillator (LO) signal and the intermediate frequency (IF) signal is 1575.42 MHz, 1570 MHz and 5.42 MHz, respectively. Measurement results show that the circuit with the resistive 1000 termination consumes approximate 1.37 mA under the supply voltage of 1 V, the conversion gain (GC) is higher than 2.11 dB, and the input 1 dB compression point (Pin-1dB) is about -13 dBm. For the mixer including operational amplifiers GC can rise to more than 14 dB, which comes along with the worse linearity, more power consumption and larger area.
