摘要
Personal air cooling system is one kind of thermal protective equipment which is effective in cooling and comfortable to wear. The most important thing in the design and use is to improve its cooling efficiency. The factors affecting the cooling efficiency of the personal air cooling equipment are discussed and analyzed from points of engineering and physiology. Those are: air temperature, humidity, flow rate and their relationship, cooling region, flow distribution, suit insulation and so on. A number of ways to improve the cooling efficiency of two types of evaporative and convective ventilated clothing are concluded. Provide references and inspiration for proper design and selection of the ventilated clothing in order to make it more efficiency and comfortable in different working conditions.
