摘要
Technology has made a significant impact on Merger/Acquisition (M&A) activity and its impact is playing a larger role for profit incurring future transactions of various firms. For successful M&A, firms should avoid transactions that are inconsistent with the its business plan. Firms should move from critical decision to critical decision with a clear sense of their ultimate objective. When buying another company, a firm should be aware of the self image of the company, their goals, and their market value for smooth operation and also for consumer satisfaction. Aquisitions can offer the firms with potential new employees with enhanced technical skills and unique abilities. Critical personal need and resources should also be identified in a transaction followed by critical evaluation of equipment capabilities. Right price is also an important factor that should be taken into consideration for an enhanced marketing power.
