摘要：
The mineralogical characteristics of some copper concentrates to be produced in Carajas region are more appropriated to hydrometallurgical routes to produce metallic copper. The selection of the CESL process to treat the Carajas copper concentrates is presented. This process and the 10,000t/year hydrometallurgical plant being installed in Carajas are described.
