摘要
Based on the Bouguer's law of radiative transfer, the mobile-region Monte Carlo method was presented to analyze the thermal radiative transfer in medium with a large optical thickness. As an example, the thermal radiative transfer in a two-dimensional rectangular region of absorbing medium was analyzed by this method to illustrate its principle and solution procedure. And a comparison with the traditional Monte Carlo method has been conducted by analyzing the numerical results of temperature distribution and the effect of sampling density. The investigation shows that, for the radiative transfer in medium with a large optical thickness, the application of the mobile-region Monte Carlo method can obviously reduce the computing time and memory space under the solution precision.
