Effect of Bi2O3-V2O5 doping on the gyromagnetic properties of NiCuZn ferrites sintered at low temperature

摘要
In this study, a Bi2O3-V2O5 (BV) mixture was employed as a sintering aid to facilitate low-temperature sintering during the preparation of NiCuZn ferrites. Ni 0.22 Cu 0.2 Zn 0.58 Fe 2 O 4 ferrites, doped with varying amounts of the BV mixture, were successfully synthesized at 900 degrees C via the solid-state reaction method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed that all samples consist of single-phase NiCuZn ferrite ceramics. Microscopic imaging revealed that BV doping significantly enhanced both grain growth and uniformity. Specifically, as the BV content increased from 0.00 wt% to 1.20 wt%, the average grain size enlarged from 0.35 mu m to 1.65 mu m. Regarding magnetic properties, BV doping resulted in reductions in both coercivity (Hc) and ferromagnetic resonance linewidth (Delta H), with minimum values recorded at 192.86 A/m and 241.55 Oe, respectively. Additionally, the saturation magnetization (4 pi Ms) increased from 2658 Gs to 3588 Gs. Therefore, the BV mixture is shown to be an effective sintering aid that enhances the microstructure and magnetic characteristics of NiCuZn ferrite materials.
