Relationship between entransy dissipation of thermal radiation and homogenization of temperature field for thermal radiator in space

Developed for heat transfer optimization and finds more and more applications In this paper, the distributions of the heat transfer rate, the emissivity and the heat transfer area are analyzed for the thermal radiator in space based on the entransy theory of thermal radiation. For the three distribution optimization problems, the theoretical analyses and the numerical simulations both show that the minimum radiative entransy dissipation and the minimum radiative thermal resistance of the thermal radiator both correspond to the uniform temperature field of the heat transfer surface. Therefore, the entransy theory of thermal radiation could be used to homogenize the temperature field of thermal radiator in space.
