The pulsed corona discharge in water is presented, and its model is founded and the experimental system is designed The composition of experimental system, experimental results and analytical results are presented Both theoretical and experimental results prove that the discharge is an over damping process, there's no phenomena of vibration and second discharge. Pictures are taken by high-speed photography. The fork plasma produced by discharge only exists at the tip of the discharge electrode, not pass through the two electrodes. The bubble doesn't expand and shrink secondly.
