摘要
IBM has developed the IBM certification test 918, which is a System Administrator for IBM Informix Dynamic Server (IDS) 11. The certification test helps in creating a certified Informix professional. The IDS is a data server for significant transaction processing and embedded applications. It provides better scalability and availability, with significantly low administration costs. IDS is applied to operate a number of critical business applications across different throughout the world. It has been recognized for its better quality hardware, multithread architecture, and significant replication capabilities. A software professional needs to score 70% marks in the IDS certification test, to emerge as a successful certified Informix professional. The certification test has been subdivided into eight sections, with each section having a varying distribution of the total test questions.
