摘要
Reactive dyes are the most important group of dyes for dyeing cotton. About 60% of the tonnage consumption of dyes from this group is for reactive blacks. Reactive Black 5, despite its imperfections, is still the most popular dye for dyeing navy blue and as an ingredient for blacks. Its importance in creased particularly after discontinuation of the production and use of direct benzidine dyes, aniline black, dyes reproducing harmful aromatic amines and sulfur black requiring the use of sodium sulfide. Intensively conducted research on the modification of the Reactive Black 5 molecule structure indicates that there is a very high probability of obtaining dyes with improved substantivity and increased dye fixation on the cellulose fibre, individually or in a mixture with appropriately selected other reactive dyes will ensure deep and full black shade with satisfactory basic parameters of color fastness and resistance to oxidative UV exposure in wet condition. © 2019, Wydawnictwo SIGMA-NOT.
