摘要
Taking a super-tall building structure with a boots-like shape as an example, torsional responses of such super-high buildings with irregular geometric shapes under three-dimensional time-varying wind loads were studied. The differences of the various internal force responses with higher order modes participating at different locations of the structure were investigated. The results showed that such super-high buildings have significant torsional response components, and each floor co-linear acceleration response of the structure is significantly greater than that at the mass center; contributions of higher order modes to the base shear and torque are greater; generally speaking, the participation of higher order modes makes the internal force responses at top and bottom of the structure increase while those near the central standard-layers decrease.
