摘要
An optical system design method for LED lighting based on edge-ray theory is presented. The two LED uniform illumination systems based on LED lens and reflector respectively are developed to target a specific distance from the surface of the formation of uniform illuminated circular spot with desired size. Two kinds of optical systems are simulated by ray tracing software based on Monte-Carlo method, the results show that the luminous uniformity is better than 85% in the illuminated spot and the system efficiency is higher than 90%.
