This study explores the integration of information technology tools, such as audio signal visualization, score recommendation algorithms based on difficulty features, and sight-singing assessment algorithms, into the development of an intelligent music classroom. It evaluates the impact of these technologies on teaching quality and efficiency, emphasizing their role in enhancing music sight-singing and classroom visualization. Findings reveal that innovative music education significantly improves teaching outcomes. While over half of the students responded positively to the creative teaching approaches, a segment found the material presented through music visualization challenging. However, introducing an intelligent music education classroom markedly benefits students’ musical learning. © 2023 Bowen Hou, Bo Chen, Weiwei Liu and Xiaolan Qiu, published by Sciendo.
