摘要
Throttling characteristic investigation of multi-hole orifice (MO) is the pre-study for MO structural design. This paper firstly presented three key parameters including total number of perforated hole, distributing density and equivalent diameter ratio, which quantified MO geometrical characteristic. Test plates were designed by means of orthogonal theory, meanwhile, test rig was established. Throttling experiment was then conducted using water as medium. Effective metrical conditions were obtained based on error analysis, which insured the relative error under 5%. Results show that equivalent diameter ratio is the dominant factor affecting MO throttling characteristic.
