A two-objective programming approach for fuzzy linear regression analysis

摘要：
In most fuzzy linear regression models one of two objectives are sought: minimization of the half-width of regression coefficients and the reduction of difference between the observed and the predicted values. In this paper a model which considers both objectives and depending on the decision maker's view the importance of each objective can be considered is presented. The advantage of the proposed method in comparison to the similar methods is its flexibility to views of the decision maker and its simplicity in obtaining proper solutions.
