摘要
Investigations at the Geesthacht weir show that scour processes in physical models are still challenging. On the one hand, studying morphological processes of fine sediments requires compromises to achieve similitude. On the other hand, modern contactless methods are needed to measure the scouring process in the running test. Overall, the relevant boundary conditions for the scour process could be identified. With this, planning reliability could be provided regarding the necessary modifications of the stilling basin and the downstream riprap.
