摘要
Currently, the growth of the commercial space, aviation, and other industries worldwide is accompanied by an increase in negative impacts from harmful CO2 emissions on the atmosphere. However, the transition to biofuel may help solve this issue. The paper presents the results of an Ignition Delay Time (IDT) study of a model fuel based on linear-chain hydrocarbons - n-pentane - with the addition of biofuels - methanol, ethanol, and isobutanol. The experiments were carried out with stoichiometric fuel-air mixtures with a content of biocomponents in the range from 10 to 85 % by weight using the shock tube setup. The studies were conducted at temperatures from 700 to 2100 K and pressures from 0.9 to 3.6 bar. A mathematical model has been constructed based on experimental data on the IDT of individual components and their mixtures.
