摘要
The coexistence of subsynchronous oscillation and low-frequency oscillation in actual AC-DC system operating in island mode is analyzed by the matrix pencil method and the order-reduced model retaining its essential characteristics is obtained, based on which, a multi-channel DC supplementary damping controller is designed. Band-pass filters are adopted to separate the subsynchronous and low-frequency oscillations and reduce the mutual impact between two oscillation modes. The gain, phase, output limit and filter parameters of each channel are separately tuned to support proper damping for the oscillation in different bands for subsynchronous and low-frequency oscillation suppression. EMTDC/PSCAD simulation verifies the effectiveness of the designed controller.
