摘要
The peculiarities of the accumulation of 90Sr and 137Cs by higher aquatic plants of the Kiev Reservoir since 1991 until 2008 are analyzed in the paper. The specific activity of both radionuclides decreased. However, in recent years the specific activity of 137Cs decreased more rapidly than that of 90Sr, as a result of which the ratio between 90Sr and 137Cs increased. The right bank section of the Kiev Reservoir is more contaminated by 90Sr and 137Cs than its left bank section. © 2010 Begell House, Inc.
