Research on fuzzy risk assessment model for river water quality

Based on the characteristics of random and fuzziness, and the shortage and imprecision of datum information of river water environmental system (RWES), fuzzy set theories were utilized to simulate the resistance and load of RWES by means of triangular fuzzy numbers. On the basis, a risk assessment model for river water quality was firstly established. Then, by denoting the model parameters of water quality as triangular fuzzy numbers, a one-dimensional stable-state fuzzy model for river water quality was proposed. According to the water quality simulation, risk of river water quality in a specified section was analyzed by using the assessment model proposed above. Case study showed that the models provided here are quite suitable for river water quality simulation and risk assessment.
