摘要
The results of numerical simulation of the output radiation parameters and the efficiency of copper vapor laser excited by a pulse-periodic induction discharge of transformer type are presented. This electrodeless excitation method is new for a copper vapor laser and has not yet been implemented in practice. The parameters of a small-scale layout for conducting experiments on pumping the working medium of such a laser with an induction discharge are selected. The thermal problem is solved and the additional power required to heat the discharge tube to the required temperature at reduced discharge powers that excite the laser medium is determined. © 2020 Federal Informational-Analytical Center of the Defense Industry.
