MPPT of photovoltaic system with Boost circuit based on fuzzy PI control

摘要
The working characteristics of PV (PhotoVoltaic) cell array are analyzed, and its mathematical model and equivalent circuit are established. The fitting parameters of the model are calculated according to the parameters of actual PV cell, based on which a MATLAB model is built. It is studied to adopt Boost converter for stepping up PV output voltage and an enhanced incremental conductance method is implemented for MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking). Fuzzy PI controller is proposed to adjust the control parameters for better dynamic performance. The small-signal state space model of system is deduced by circuit analysis, which is proved a stable system by model simulation. Experimental results show the proposed system is stable, reliable and fast.
