A novel scheme of optical label switching technology using phase modulator

摘要
A new scheme of the first-order carrier suppress optical label switching technology is proposed using phase modulator. Amplitude modulation is employed in generating central optical carrier and other order carriers. The 10 Gb/s none-return-zero signal and 2.5 Gb/s optical OFDM label are generated. The feasibility of the new scheme has been demonstrated by both simulation and experiment.
