Sealing-contact analysis on tri-eccentric butterfly valve by finite element method

摘要
The sealing contact analysis of tri-eccentric butterfly valve was discussed by nonlinearity finite element method, and the theory of the method was clarified. During the process of numerical simulated analysis, the effects of axi-eccentric, radial-eccentric and angle-eccentric were considered, and the contact pressure distribution on the sealing surface of a tri-eccentric butterfly valve was gotten. All these studies are useful to the optimum design on bi-directional drop-tight tri-eccentric butterfly valve.
