Marketing on facebook using friends photographs

摘要
A number of researchers have discussed the emergence of Facebook as a significant marketing media by hosting and exchanging large number of photographs provided by its users. A number of such researchers have published an article, entitled 'Facebook, Friends, and Photos: A Snapshot into Social Networking for Generating Travel Ideas' in the forthcoming release, Tourism Informatics: Visual Travel Recommender Systems, Social Communities, and User Interface Design. The article focuses on the social aspects of tourism informatics by discussing the effects several photographs posted on social networking sites have on travel decisions, along with those who view the photographs themselves. Photographs that are posted on websites become part of the visual culture that makes up the entire world of the online users. Photos shared on the Internet have a vast potential audience rather than encasing these memories in photo albums stored on bookshelves.
