摘要
A semi-active improved Bang-Bang control algorithm for a closed-loop cable vibration control with magnetorheological (MR) dampers was developed based on displacement feed back, taking the switch time of input voltage as a variable. A geometrical nonlinear finite element formulation was presented and an experimental platform based on dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink and MR dampers was established to study the performance of the semi-active control algorithm. The performance of the proposed semi-active control algorithm with MR dampers was applied numerically and experimentally to the laboratory cable, and was compared with the passive control algorithm by using MR dampers optimally tuned to the first mode. The numerical simulation and experimental study results showed that the proposed semi-active control is superior to the optimal passive control or the classical Bang-Bang control algorithm tuned to a particular mode, and the switch time of input voltage is vital.
