摘要
This brief describes a dual-mode analog front-end (AFE) with a compact structure. Based on the proposed combined subrange method, the intensity and distance information of the target can be obtained simultaneously through the AFE. And 30 m ranging can be achieved. In addition, the dynamic range of 136 dB is obtained by mode configuration on AFE circuit. The proposed AFE is fabricated in 55 nm CMOS technology and can be extended to dual-mode optical sensors in array format for 2/3-D imaging and data fusion. IEEE
