摘要
The localized corrosion behavior of X65 steel under AC interference in alkaline earth metal environment was investigated using the detachable wire beam electrode (WBE). The AC/DC current distribution, electrochemical properties, and elemental distribution were traced through the WBE to characterize the localized corrosion behavior and mechanism. The results show that hydrogen evolution under high cathodic protection (CP) conditions leads to an uneven distribution of calcareous deposits, and areas not covered by calcareous deposits have higher JAC and Cl concentrations. The synergistic effect of Fe3O4 dissolution reprecipitation process, hydrogen evolution and Cl leads to severe localized corrosion.
