摘要
The imperative lies in adapting a high-voltage converter for renewable energy integration. The study puts forward a nonisolated high voltage gain dc-dc converter which is an amalgamation of boost and luo converters. Given its notable attributes, such as high voltage gain, employment of a single switch, and utilization of common ground topology, this configuration proves suitable for low voltage renewable applications. The operational behavior of the converter is evaluated for both continuous and discontinuous conduction modes of operation, and its design parameters are presented. Efficiency, design equations, volume of storing elements (L, C), voltage and current stress of used devices are computed and compared. Small-signal modeling is included in this article for dynamic analysis of the converter. In addition, a Proportional Integral (PI) controller is implemented for closed-loop voltage regulation. A 312 W converter prototype is designed, developed, and analyzed to verify its working principle, and the obtained converter efficiency is 94.89$\%$.
