This article investigates the globally exponential impulsive adaptive synchronization problem of Lur’e network with hybrid time-varying delays. Firstly, an event-trigger-based impulsive feedback controller is designed to achieve the exponential synchronization and avoid consecutive control. In order to acquire optimal control strength, an adaptive updating law is designed to realize the dynamical balance between impulsive control and feedback control. Secondly, thanks to the application of generalized comparison principle and parameter-variation formula, sufficient conditions to achieve globally exponential synchronization under the proposed control scheme are derived. Meanwhile, the velocity of convergence is precisely estimated. Finally, relative simulation example is provided to illustrate the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed control scheme and theoretical analysis. © 2024 South China University of Technology.
