摘要
Hydrogen has been recognized as a clean and promising energy form that can increase the utilization of renewable generation. This article discusses the renewable hydrogen applications in behind-the-meter (BTM) systems. The main hydrogen technologies, including the technologies of hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, hydrogen transportation, and hydrogen utilization processes are first summarized. Then some practical examples of the BTM hydrogen systems are introduced, which aims to give valuable insights on the development of BTM hydrogen systems. We next elaborate on the potential issues and their solutions in the BTM hydrogen systems. Finally, the future aspects of the BTM hydrogen systems are discussed. © 2022 Elsevier Inc.
