Holzartige Biomasse ist eine Ressource mit vielfältigem Ursprung, die sowohl stofflich als auch energetisch in verschiedenen Sektoren Anwendung findet. Daher ist die Diskussion um eine nachhaltige Nutzung der Ressource komplex. Ein zielgerichteter und begrenzter Einsatz von nachhaltiger holzartiger Biomasse ist in einigen Bereichen durchaus sinnvoll und vertretbar. Beispielsweise in einer zentralen Wärmeversorgung dann, wenn andere erschlossene klimaneutrale Energieerzeuger nicht ausreichend zur Verfügung stehen. © 2023, VDI Fachmedien GmBH & Co. KG.
