In brief: The Soil Machine Dynamics Laboratory (SMDL) has been established at Iowa State University (ISU) close to Boone, Iowa. The SMDL lab has three types of soil testing equipment including a mobility soil bin, a Ground Engaging Tools (GETs) soil bin, and a circular wear testing bin. New soil testing equipment has been developed at the ISU Soil Machine Dynamics Laboratory in Boone, Iowa.
