摘要
In UHVDC converter station, the operating voltage, overvoltage load and waveform on each device vary widely. MOVsat different nodes face different aging threats. Studying on the aging characteristics of DC MOV under various loads is of great significance for parameter selection of DC MOV. In order to analyze the effects of operating overvoltage, near-field lightning strike and far-field lightning overvoltage on DC MOV aging, three kinds of typical DC MOVs in ±1100kV converter stations are applied with multiple combined shock loads of square waves, large currents or lightning waves, and then DC accelerated aging test is carried out. Integrated agingtest results show that the influence weight ranking of impact current on MOV performance degradation is: high current > square waves >lightning waves. Formulation process has great influence on MOV degradation, andobvious polarity effect exists in MOV deterioration. © 2020, Power System Technology Press. All right reserved.
