摘要
In this paper proposition of application of numerical calculation finite volume method for prediction of the cross flow fan performance curves has been presented. In literature one can find a few attempts to similar problem solutions but the results obtained numerically varied from the experimental ones. Numerical simulation of the flow made with use of Flo++ program based on finite volume method allowed to predict the performance curves with very good compatibility. The goodness-fit test chi-square has been applied. Moreover the same numerical method has been used for the case of cross flow fan with the controlable performance (the rotated inner blade located inside of the impeller). The results of investigations have been presented graphically in 5 figures.
