摘要
A scheme for performing quantum computing in the system with trapped ions placed in a high-Q single-mode optical cavity was reported. As degrees of freedom of the trap were decoupled from the model, decoherence due to heating have no effect on the scheme. Moreover, due to suitably adjusted detuning, the cavity mode was only virtually excited during the gate operation.
