Phase structure, sintering characteristics, and dielectric properties of garnet-type Ca3CoSnGe3O12 microwave ceramics

摘要
Garnet-structured microwave dielectric ceramics have garnered significant interest among researchers, attributed to their exceptional high Q x f values and low permittivity. In this paper, Ca3CoSnGe3O12 3 CoSnGe 3 O 12 (CCSG) ceramics were designed by calculating the tolerance factor of the garnet structure. XRD as well as Rietveld refinement indicate that the sample is garnet structure (space group Ia-3 d ). The SEM and EDS analyses show that the samples have uniform grain size, obvious grain boundaries, and uniform distribution of elements. The impact of porosity on permittivity was meticulously accounted for through the computation of the corrected permittivity. Consequently, the samples were demonstrated to adhere to Shannon's additivity rule. The analytical examination of Raman spectra has demonstrated a significant correlation between the variations in the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the Raman peaks and the variation in the Q x f values. The observed shift in the temperature coefficient of the resonance frequency (tau f) tau f ) for the sample is attributed to alterations in the valence state of the cobalt (Co). The CCSG ceramic samples sintered at 1350 degrees C showed the best microwave dielectric properties of epsilon r r = 8.93, Q x f = 60,526 GHz, tau f f =-32.43 ppm/degrees C, degrees C, showing that it is a promising candidate for use in mobile devices.
