摘要
Degradation behavior of phenol contained in landfill leachate with the high-strength ammonium was studied by using a SBR (sequencing batch reactor). Results show that removal rate of phenol can reach 95% at different concentration levels of NH4+-N at HRT of 23 h and MLSS of 1200-2000 mg/L, and further more the high-strength ammonium not only shows no inhibition to the activity of phenol-utilizing bacteria, but also could promote the degradation of phenol.
