摘要
Facing trade barriers and an increasing market volatility in key growth markets, companies of the mechanical engineering sector have to develop concepts to fulfill the localization demand in order to stay competitive and to enhance their global position. While companies of the automotive sector react with the CKD concept successfully by only exporting components and run a local final assembly, concepts for the mechanical engineering companies are missing. Against this background this article addresses the development of a simulation model for CKD Supply Chains. Thereby companies get the possibility to simulate their own planned CKD scenarios and to find their optimal supply chain parameters. © 2016, Carl Hanser Verlag. All rights reserved.
