摘要
Vulnerability criteria of pure loss of stability are under development by the Sub-Committee on Ship Design and Construction (SDC) of International Maritime Organization (IMO) in second generation intact stability criteria. Firstly, the paper describes the latest drafts for pure loss of stability, which is provided by SDC1 and the Intercessional Correspondence Group on Intact Stability. Secondly, sample calculations for different kinds of ships are executed. Finally, the feasibility of the vulnerability criteria is studied, which provides technical support for the development of the vulnerability criteria for pure loss of stability in the second generation intact stability criteria. ©, 2015, The Editorial Office of Shipbuilding of China.
