摘要
The triaxial shear tests on Nanyang natural expansive soil were carried out under various controlled suctions. According to the results, the sample of natural expansive soil is brittle while shearing, the original crack and weak plane in sample are critical to the strength of natural expansive soil. The shrinkage and swell of expansive soil due to water content change, and the contraction and expansion during shearing can be described by a unsaturated elasto-plastic constitutive model with four yielding surfaces.
