摘要
An efficiently functioning tool monitoring system enhances machine availability. If tool breakage is detected immediately, a fast system shut-down will prevent more extensive damage to the workpiece, tool and possibly even the machine. However, simple handling is imperative to correct operation of the monitoring system.
