To realize Industry 4.0 potentials in operational practice a company-specific Roadmap must be created. While creating an Industry 4.0 Roadmap for a SME, specific characteristics need to be taken into consideration. The illustrated process model for the creation of an Industry 4.0 Roadmap provides SMEs a method that can be used to plan the implementation of Industry 4.0 in the respective enterprise. © Carl Hanser Verlag GmbH & Co.
