Numerical simulation to the influence of injection parameters on Gasoline Direct Injection

摘要
Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) has become an important means to improve the economical performance and to decrease the emission for the gasoline engines. Injection process has a great influence on this new type of combustion . Three-dimensional numerical simulation of GDI in-cylinder process for a family-use car engine was carried out. The influence of the injection timing and the injection angle was studied. The result shows that the choice of appropriate injection parameters can improve greatly the preparation of in-cylinder mixture and the following combustion.
