57Fe NMR in orthoferrites RFe1-xMnxO3

摘要：
The NMR spectrum of 57Fe nuclei in Mn-substituted Tm and Er orthoferrites has been investigated using the spin-echo method. The Jahn-Teller effect for an impurity Mn3+ ion is shown to manifest itself in the proportional reenhancement of E-type deformations of the Fe3+-6O2- octahedron. The magnetic non-equivalence of the sublattices of both Fe3+ ions and impurity Mn3+ ions is observed in the region of spin-reorientational transition.
