An improved narrow-band interference suppression algorithm for spread spectrum systems using lapped FFT

摘要
In this paper, an improved lapped FFT algorithm is used to transform the received data signals to the frequency-domain wherein adaptive excision is performed. First, the algorithm can perform perfect reconstruction for the received signals, avoiding correlation property of the PN sequence changed by windowing. Theoretical results show that it can completely eliminate both the spread spectrum signals distortion and BER degradation due to windowing. Furthermore, it is valid for a broad class of windowing function while a few more complex operations are needed. Theoretical results are confirmed by computer simulation.
