Russia: Neusiedler invests in Russia

Taking into account the fact that Russian demand for office papers increases at a rate of 10% per year, Neusiedler, the Austrian branch of the multinational Mondi Europe group, has decided to develop its paper mill in Syktyvkar (Russia). Mondi Europe has already invested $41 million in this enterprise. A quarter of this amount is intended for modernization of the mill's three papermaking machines. Mondi Europe owns 98% of the Syktyvkar mill.
