摘要：
The article introduces a simplified closed-form model of the railway catenary dynamic behaviour. After its characterization, the model has been calibrated and validated by utilizing the results from a finite element code applied to a standard catenary, at present installed in the FS regular lines. The introduced model is especially adaptable and quick in the computations when employed in parametric surveys: it has been therefore utilized to survey the influence of the vehicle speed and the pantographs spacing on the catenary vibration.
